First thing first. Here's a few things to remember when making Ceremonial Cacao
Use ceremonial-grade cacao for the full heart-opening experience.
Heat gently - warm, not boiling, to preserve nutrients and flavor.
Choose plant-based milk (almond, oat, coconut) for better nutrient absorption.
Sip slowly and mindfully - set an intention if you like.
Feel free to experiment with spices and natural sweeteners to make it your own.
Don’t rush - the magic is in the ritual, not just the drink.
The Heart Opener
This is my go-to recipe - warm, spicy, and deeply grounding.

Ingredients:
- 23–43 g ceremonial cacao
- 1 tsp Ceylon cinnamon
- 1 tsp cardamom
- Pinch of salt
- Dash of cayenne
- 1 tsp of coconut oil
- 1 tsp honey + 1 date
Instructions:
Gently heat water or your favorite plant milk (don’t boil).
Add cacao, spices, and salt then sweeten with honey and chop the date and whisk until smooth. You can also blend it if you like a frothier texture.
Add a few drops of vanilla if desired.
Sip mindfully, setting an intention or simply feeling your heart open.
